After our time in the mountains, we were craving a few days of beach time and complete rest, so we continued on to Kenting.
Getting there by Taiwan’s high-speed railway was, once again, incredibly smooth. One thing we truly loved about traveling around Taiwan was how easy and efficient the transport was the entire time.
Our stay, however, did not begin quite as planned.
We had first booked an Airbnb, hoping for a quiet place to unwind, but it turned out to be right next to a construction site, with large machines almost hanging over us. Unfortunately, the owners had not mentioned this at all, so we managed to file a complaint and change our plans.
In the end, it worked out for the best.
We found a wonderful rate at Caesar Park, a beautiful hotel right by the beach, and it became the perfect place for a few slow days. We spent our time reading, relaxing, and simply enjoying the calm pace after moving around so much.
The view was beautiful, and being close to the sea felt exactly like what we needed.
The food in the area was a bit more touristy than we had hoped, and we found it surprisingly difficult to come across a restaurant we truly loved.
Still, the ocean, the slower rhythm, and the peaceful atmosphere made it such a lovely stop on our trip.
